Java 5 for CS II tutorial

The tutorial will focus on the evolution of the Java programming language into the version now referred to as Java 5 (J2SE 1.5). Particular emphasis will be on how the new capabilities of Java can enhance teaching of software development and data abstraction, particularly in the context of CS II. The approach will be to compare and contrast Java 2 with Java 5 such that the participant may develop an appreciation for the value of the new features.
