Getting started with cluster computing BCCD and windows HPC 2008 R2 clusters
Nathan Clark, Rick Massengale · Journal of computing sciences in colleges · 2013
We seek to describe two accessible methods for setting up a computing cluster in an undergraduate or high school environment. It is becoming ever more necessary that future Information Technology students are familiar with the concepts of parallel computing and programming. However, many high schools, community colleges, and small universities do not have a program in place to introduce their students to this environment. We will explain why this information is relevant, discuss two cluster environments, and provide an introduction to cluster configuration.
