Connectivity analysis of the Benes network under distributed control

The structural limitations introduced by a Benes network under distributed control are analyzed. This study provides a general methodology for estimating the number of permutations performable by the network under distributed control algorithms. It also offers guidelines for determining optimum set-up algorithms for the Benes network.>
