Strong Convergence Theorems for a Finite Family of Nonexpansive Mappings with Their Applications

In this paper, by using some new analysis techniques, we study the approximation problems of common fixed points for a class of finite nonexpansive mappings in uniformly convex Banach spaces by using new control conditions. The main results presented in this paper generalize, extend and improve the corresponding results of Atsushiba and Takahashi (Atsushiba and Takahashi, to appear in Indian J. Math. ), Shioji and Takahashi (Shioji and Takahashi, 1997), Takahashi, Tamura and Toyoda (Takahashi et al., 2002), Wittmann (Wittmann, 1992 ), Xu (Xu, 2002, 2003) and others.
