On the Distributional Index 2F1‐transform

Abstract In this paper the index 2F1‐transform is defined on a space of generalized functions by using the method of adjoints. We prove that smooth functions having suitable asymptotic behaviors around zero and infinite are 2F1‐transforms of generalized functions.
