A New Definition in the Design of Digital Filter and the Variational Solution about Extended Whittaker Problem

In this paper, A new definition in the design of digital filter is proposed with variational method, and the variational solution about the Whittaker problem and the functional relation between e, p and frequency response A are derived. The formulae to use the W-V k-order filter for practical calculation are also derived.
