The physics of leading particles
W. D. Walker · AIP conference proceedings · 1992
We review recent results reported at this conference on leading particles. The results show that the leading particles are the result of fragmentation that occurs at considerable distance from the struck nucleus. We also show that the quarks (diquarks) or partons undergo relatively little absorption if they traverse nuclear matter. Quark and diquark nucleon cross sections are estimated.
