In this paper design and realization of an Printed Log Periodic Dip01 Antenna (LPDA) is presented. This contribution describes how to produce a LPDA at UHF band and experimental results of the antenna. In this paper design and realization of an PLPDA antenna is presented. This contribution describes how to produce a PLPDA for UHF frequencies and experimental results of the effects of design parameters on the radiation pattem of the antenna. For maximizing performance of PLPDA antenna, attention was focused on such important parameters as beamwidth, gain and impedance. The eficiency of the antenna has been obtained by measuring the SI, parameters. Furthermore, the beam panem measurements were done at 5-degree intervals in an anechoic chamber. Also antenna factor determination inside GTEM Cell is investigated 11. MAIN DEFINITIONS AND DESIGN PARAMETERS Design parameters have been calculated by using standard formulation (presented by Carrel and improvement by Butson and Thompson). The array elements are arranged on both sides of the FR4 fiberglass hoard. These elements are Connected through a parallel by crisscrossing between adjacent elements. The size of the antenna is 280mmx235mm. The general configuration of a log periodic array is described in terms of the design parameters r , a and U related by,
