Modified basis and quantum R-matrices corresponding to Belavin–Drinfeld triples

We intrepret a set of data defining a Belavin–Drinfeld triple in terms of some suitable basis of the universal enveloping algebra. A formula for a universal R-matrix, corresponding to any Belavin–Drinfeld triple is given with the use of this modified basis. Several simple examples are considered explicitly.
