A Broadcast Quality Video Processor With Integrated Time Base Correction

A IO-bit broadcast quality composite video decoder is presented. This highly integrated solution includes time base correction (TBC), video enhancement functions and on-chip PLL and NCO loops which require a single reference clock for all processing. Comparisons are made to alternative schemes, which exhibit lower quantitative performance and subjective quality.
