SNARG-1D: A One-Dimensional, Discrete-Ordinate, Transport-Theory Program for the CDC-3600
G.J. Duffy, Harold Greenspan, S.D. Sparck, J.V. Zapatka, M. Butler · 1967
SNARG-1D is based upon the Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory's DTK program and its FORTRAN offspring DTF, prepared jointly by LASL and United Nuclear Corporation. These programs are based on the Sn discrete-ordinates method, as developed by Bengt G. Carlson to solve the neutron-transport equation. SNARG-1D is written for the solution of one-dimensional problems using the order n = 2, 4, 6, 8, 12, 16, or 32, and applicable to plane, cylindrical, and spherical geometries. The real or adjoint solution may be calculated, and homogeneous (eigenvalue) or inhomogeneous (external source) problems may be solved.
