Web-based Support for White Box Software Estimation

Abstract: Most commercial estimation tools can be considered as black boxes in that they do not provide details of the samples used to build their estimates. With the availability of the ISBSG international repository of 2000+ software projects, it is now feasible to develop white box estimation models which provide additional insights into the strengths and limitations of software estimates.
