IRIS Revisited: A Comparison of Discriminant and Enhanced Rough Set Data Analysis
Ciarán Browne, Ivo Düntsch, Günther Gediga · Studies in fuzziness and soft computing · 1998
Rough set data analysis (RSDA) was introduced to Computer Science in the early 1980s by Z. Pawlak [Paw82] and has since come into focus as an alternative to the more widely used methods of machine learning and statistical data analysis. A good overview of the state of the art are Fundamenta Informaticae , Vol. 27 (1996), and [LC97]. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
