Reclassification and Barcoding

The experience of the University of Vermont in carrying out a two-year computer-based reclassification of the collections from Dewey Decimal Classification to Library of Congress Classification is described. Costs, planning,, personnel, work flow and procedures are covered, as well as integration of barcoding with reclassification.
