Dogan İbrahim · 2012
This chapter is about the GLCD displays. The industry standard 128 × 64 pixel GLCD is considered as an example in the book. This GLCD has 128 pixels in the horizontal direction, and 64 pixels in the vertical direction. The pin configuration of the GLCD is given. mikroC language has a built-in GLCD library that provides a large number of functions for using GLCDs in PIC microcontroller based applications. These functions are described briefly with example calls to the functions. Touch screens are currently used in many commercial, educational, and industrial GLCD applications. The types of touch screens and their operation are explained in the chapter.
