Generic programming using STL

The course content and methodology of a senior-level, computer science software engineering course is described and analyzed with respect to general education goals. The general education model in use is briefly described and the potential application of software engineering in that model is explored in detail. With only minor revisions, the course may be used simultaneously as a writing intensive, oral communication intensive and critical thinking intensive course simultaneously.
