This chapter is a grab bag of tips, tricks, and advice. When you have a problem building or installing a package, take a look here. The advice is arranged into sections called “How To,” “Advice,” and “Warning.” The “How To” section is a collection of tools and code that you might find useful, and the “Warnings” section tells you about some of the traps lying in wait when you’re building and running your installs. The Advice section offers recommendations for good practices that I believe will make your installs easier to build and maintain. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors.
