The Impacts of Social Network Sites: A Critical Overview

Connectivity is considered as one of the most desiredpreconditions of development in a world of technologies developed so far.Communicating using technology is important here. Social Network Sites(SNSs) enhance communication widely as they allow people to stayconnected altogether. SNSs are something that create networks and bindsocieties together by bringing parts of a society together and bridging them.That is what these networks are supposedly doing. As ‘human cannot notcommunicate’ and ‘man cannot live alone’, this is why these sites areattracting people, and getting more and more popular day by day. Studiesconducted worldwide indicate that people not ‘plugged into’ a socialnetwork feel ‘out of the loop’. But there are incidents out there that questionthe ‘all good’ ideas about these sites. Are social networks really makingpeople ‘more social’? Are these sites all good? – These are the questionsnow experts are raising and examining throughout the world. There arisesthe question: what measures should be taken to settle that problem mosteffectively? – These are the concerns of this essay
