RESOURCE MANAGEMENT METHOD FOR A COMPILER SYSTEM OF A LINEAR LOGIC PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE
Naoyuki Tamura, Yuichi Ikeda · 1996
this paper. A Prolog program representing resources by a list is used for comparison (compiled on SICStus Prolog version 2.1 to WAM). The program is almost equivalent with a partially evaluated one of Lolli interpreter described in [4]. Our prototype finds all solutions in 1.5 seconds while the Prolog version used 41 seconds (25 times slower) which spends more than 90% of the time for resource management (executed on SPARC station 1). Therefore, we can conclude the resource management method described in this paper is much efficient than the method representing resources by a list structure. References
