The Generalized CDMA
Diakoumis Gerakoulis, E. Geraniotis · 2001
Chapter 1 presents the generalized CDMA as a unifying approach to multiple access communications. Introduces the concepts of spread-spectrum and spread-time and derives each traditional access method (such as TDMA and FDMA) from the generalized one. This is achieved by spreading in spectrum or time with orthogonal, pseudo-orthogonal, real or complex sequences.
