Qualitative observations from software code inspection experiments
Diane F. Kelly, Terry Shepard · Conference of the Centre for Advanced Studies on Collaborative Research · 2002
In the past three years, we have carried out a series of inspection experiments intended to quantify the relative effectiveness of different inspection techniques. Some of our results have been reported at Cascon 2000 and Cascon 2001. In this paper, we collect and organize many observations that we made during the experiments. In some cases, the observations are in the form of comments from and discussions with the student inspectors. In other cases, they arise from our analysis of the results of the experiments.
