Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) Consists of large number of light-weight Micro Sensors that are battery powered used major for monitor purposes. Recently, WSNs have been heavily researched by several organizations and by the military when one can find some of the applications in battle field surveillance and other security purposes. However while WSNs are increasingly equipped to handle some of complex functions like data aggregation, information fusion, computation and transmission activities requires these sensors to use their energy efficiently in order to extend their effective network life time because of irreplaceable battery source, instead new sensors are deployed. Thus, the constant re-energizing of wireless sensor network is old sensor nodes die out and/or the uneven terrain of the region being sensed can lead to energy imbalances or Heterogeneity among the sensor nodes this can negatively impact the stability and performance of the network system. More real life cases deals with such Heterogeneity rather than Homogeneity. In this paper first complete analysis of the basic clustering routing protocol Low Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy (LEACH) for homogeneous system and data aggregation method in LEACH-Heterogeneous protocol is proposed.
