A transistor power converter-amplifier

A COKVENTIONAL TRANSISTOR power converter utilizes only the switching properties of the transistors and is not useful for amplification purposes. Signal amplification along with power conversion may be obtained if the linear gain characteristics of the transistors are utilized.
