An application of DATR: the TIC lexicon

Lynne J. Cahill, Roger Evans · European Conference on Artificial Intelligence · 1990

This paper presents DATR, a formally specified representation language for natural language lexicons. It describes an application of DATR in a practical lexical context, using it in the Traffic Information Collator ( TIC), a knowledge-based system operating in the domain of road traffic incident reports. The main function of TIC is to accept input from incidents and automatically generate warning messages to road users.
