The use of matrices for a complete description of copolymers

Abstract Mathematical formalisms based on the application of matrix techniques were lately applied to multicomponent copolymerizations; they led to expressions giving the fractional distribution of each monomer present in a linear copolymer of a certain degree of polymerization. In this paper an extension of these treatments, which allows us to describe in a conceptually simple way of the whole sequence distribution of copolymers.
