Developments in Transportation Planning Software: MVGRAF - An Interactive Network Graphics Program

This paper describes the development of a graphical interface called MVGRAF, which is a part of the TRIPS transportation planning package. The paper first looks at the design and functional requirements for such software. Then the functionality of the software is described, and this is followed with some examples of the uses to which the software has been put in the Netherlands.
