An Analysis of Some Prostate and Breast Cancer Data

Small data sets, and their limitations, are considered. For the first data set a large collection of small time series is reduced to summary numbers and analyzed using traditional methods. In the second data set, seven separate regressions are analyzed, and it is verified that the patterns seen in the regressions generally match the patterns expected by the researchers.
