Organizing and delivering real projects for real clients courses

David Klappholz · Journal of computing sciences in colleges · 2008

An RPRCC is a course in which students work in teams to develop real software for real clients, that is, software that solves a problem for or provides a service to the client, e.g., a member of the university's faculty or staff, a not-for-profit organization, a local government agency or a local business. In this tutorial we will discuss reasons for teaching RPRCCs and methods for tailoring an RPRCC to the individual instructor's educational objectives and to the available infrastructure resources.
