XML_Parser is a module that simplifies parsing XML documents. It relies on PHP’s xml extension and provides an object-oriented interface that makes it easier to work with the data in an XML document. In PHP 4, the xml extension uses the external expat library. In PHP 5, the XML extension uses the external libxml2 library.
