Advanced UE and BTS Algorithms

This chapter presents an overview of the advanced UE as well as of the advanced BTS algorithms. First the different UE advanced receiver versions are introduced. Example data from measurements of different UE chips sets is also presented. This chapter then continues with the introduction of the different BTS scheduling solutions and covers also difference approaches (serial and parallel) to BTS interference cancellation. This chapter covers also the latest development of Network Assisted Interference Cancellation (NAIC) being investigated in 3GPP for Release 12.
