A Study on Block Cipher Systems Based on Nonlinear Feedback Shift Registers and Their Basic Performance

Simple block cipher systems based on nonlinear feedback shift registers are proposed. By numerical simulations, we investigate their basic performance, such as sensitivity to keys/plaintexts and immunity against the well-known differential/linear cryptanalysis.
