The serial-search method of code acquisition of a direct-sequence spread-spectrum system is analyzed from the multiple-dwell detector application point of view. The influence of parameters of the immediate rejection model of the acquisition detector in conjunction with the up-down counter with respect to the fixed false-lock penalty model of lock detector on mean acquisition time is shown. >
