The present work on the evolution of Awadhi (Eastern Hindi Dialect) is divided into two parts bound in a single volume. Part I relates to the precise description of phonetic notation of Awadhi and is followed by graphic illustrations; and Part II deals with the accurate and complete description of the ancient and modern staes of Awadhi.
