HDR Pixel and Spatial Algorithms
John J. McCann, Alessandro Rizzi · 2011
This chapter describes and analyzes HDR algorithms that we have divided into a number of categories. It emphasizes the many variants of Retinex and ACE image processing and review analytical interpretations. The chapter describes a number of different techniques to evaluate the success of different algorithms. It reviews image processing algorithms that use light (quanta catch) from one pixel, a local group of pixels, all the pixels and all the pixels in a way that mimics vision. The Retinex, ACE, Analytical, Computational and Variational Algorithms and Techniques for analyzing HDR algorithms and the HDR story are focused in the chapter. Controlled Vocabulary Terms computational geometry; image processing; variational techniques
