Meaning-Text-Theory and Lexical Frames

We discuss the relationship between FrameNet and Meaning-Text Theory. We propose that the notion of frame can be used in MTT in order to give the conversive lexical function both a broader and a more precise definition. We include a discussion of some issues related to importing the FrameNet lexicon to MTT. 1
