Direct adaptive control of unknown nonlinear systems using wavelet approximation
Shan Liu, WU Tie-jun · 2002
We deal with the problem of controlling a class of unknown nonlinear dynamical systems. Based on wavelet approximation theory, a novel direct adaptive control algorithm with no explicit attempt to determine a model of the process dynamics is proposed. The controller directly tunes its adjustable parameters in response to measured deviations of the process from its desired behavior. The stability of the closed loop is proved by using Lyapunov theory.
