FLEXIBLE UPCONVERSION FOR HIGH QUALITY TV AND MULTIMEDIA DISPLAYS

The paper describes the application of broadcast digital processing techniques to video upconversion, offering high picture quality as well as programmable display rates for multi-media applications. The techniques have been realised in 0.5 um CMOS as a digital ASIC for consumer applications.
