Aspects of Object-oriented Formal Specifications
RW Duke, David John Duke · Australian Software Engineering Conference · 1990
Over recent years, object orientation has been promoted as a strategy for program implementation. We believe that it is desirable to go further and use the principle of object orientation at all stages of software development, from the initial top level model through to the final implementation. On this paper we consider how object-oriented concepts can be applied at the system specification level. This is illustrated with the aid of a simple example specified in Object-Z.
