The MPEG systems committee draft (CD) specifies the syntax and semantics of the information that is necessary in order to reproduce one or more MPEG audio or video compressed data streams in a system. The issues addressed by the systems CD are in four categories: synchronization, absolute time identification, multiplexing and playback start-up.>
