An Architecture Information Assurance Model for TICN (Tactical Information Communication Network)

The aspect of warfare goes toward to Network Centric Warfare (NCW). To cope with this aspect, the current SPIDER systems will be substituted with TICN system efficiently coping with variable battlefield situation. However, information and data transmitted in this network are vulnerable to attacks such as hacking. So, information assurance must be come true with TICN together. The information assurance is a wider concept than the existing concept of information security. The information assurance provides the services of rehabilitation and advance confrontation about infiltration as well as attack detections. In this paper, we research the information assurance for the TICN and propose information assurance model which can be applied to the TICN equipment.
