Fuzzy Multimedia Mining Applied to Video News

In this paper, we present the plication of the general scheme of Knowledge Discovery to Multimedia data. In particular, we discuss the extraction of structures from video news. Concrete results are pre- sented for the extraction of knowl- edge based on color properties (of characteristic video images) using fuzzy decision tree based method.
