Association strategies of a symbol sequence for producing Thai words used in Thai picture-based communication system

The use of semantic compaction has provided the augmented user with the potential to increase communicative speed and efficiency. However, the nature of this process can make systematic assessment of an individual possible to use this concept with challenging. This study aims to illustrate association strategies of a symbol sequence for producing Thai words used in Thai Picture-based Communication system software under Semantic compaction approach. The associations, especially secondary associations elicited and grouped, were a vital role for representation of natural language in this Thai software. Basically, in the procedure of producing Thai word, there are 2 main association strategies employed: noun and grammatical association strategies, which are illustrated in this paper.
