I had a lot of fun in the three and a half years of my master’s degree. For that, I would like to thank all of the professors of UNO’s Department of Electrical Engineering and the students who were with me. I would like to make special mention of the three professors in the Information Systems Lab: Dr. Jilkov, Dr. Chen, and my advisor, Dr. Li. Your continuous instruction and encouragement shaped my coursework, provided the path to my master’s thesis, and radically expanded the boundaries of my mind. Also, I would like to thank my parents. Mom, Dad, you two take really good care of me. ii Contents List of Figures iv
