Basic Field Vectors

Chapter 1 is a very brief overview of the Maxwell equations —the governing laws of electromagnetic field phenomena. Electric and magnetic field vectors are introduced in connection with the Lorentz force. Constitutive relations regarding the material media where fields are impressed are introduced. General definitions are given for the fundamental concepts of voltage and current intensity.
