Study on the Grinding Action

The Cutting mechanism of grits on the grinding wheel is very complicated. There are many factors which have direct influences upon grinding action as it is well known.In order to make the problems easy to solve, the following hypothesis may be introduced: All the factors except the relation between characteristics of wheels and work materials are independent to each other.In this report I derive the general solution for the roughness of ground surface theoretically and prove it on the grinding conditions experimentally.
