Reconstruction of tonal sequences

A study of the reconstruction of single tone sequences from a musical instrument, a piano here, is described. The nature of piano tones is examined and a means of digital data capture and reconstruction is described. It is suggested that a reconstruction method such as described could form the basis of a type of recorded music.
