Computational Models of Cognition: Constraining

Abstract Computational models of cognition may be constrained in various ways. The three primary benefits of constraining a computational model are: (1) parsimony; (2) avoiding over‐flexibility; and (3) potentially stronger motivation for the elements of the model.
