The assistance to retrieve fuzzy information from an object oriented fuzzy system

We propose an approach for assisting and facilitating the retrieval of fuzzy information, specifically where the user has to cope with several different situations such as: formulating queries; situations where the retrieval process yields no answer; and situations where the retrieval process yields multiple or a wide ranges of answers (exceeding a threshold). In formulating queries the inexperienced user or the neophyte often needs explanations and illustrations about how to insert complex terms into his query. In situations where the retrieval process yields no answer assistance may take the form of proposing to the user the suppression of one or more pieces of impertinent information and restarting the search. Where the retrieval process yields multiple or a wide ranges of answers assistance may take the form of helping the user to discriminate between the different answers.>
