Educational robot design

By introducing children, in the final years of primary school, to simple Engineering principles, children may consider Engineering, when they make the choice of career, in the early years of high school. Using a Robot, as this vehicle, ties the already existing fascination children have with science fiction to a practical classroom interaction. This interaction should effectively draw attention to Engineering and create interest in the disciplines it encompasses. The exposure of children to Engineering, in this intimate format, should help career choice and the growth of engineering in the future.
