Workshop on moving to visual basic.net

Gary Ury · Journal of computing sciences in colleges · 2003

This workshop and accompanying paper will discuss and demonstrate some of the strengths and weaknesses of the new VB.Net object-oriented programming language. It is appropriate for anyone who is contemplating a course in the new language or anyone who just wants to know more about VB.Net architecture. Database connectivity and web applications will be demonstrated in addition to some fundamental navigational and Interactive Development Environment (IDE) issues. Finally, the authors will share their experiences in developing and teaching VB.Net as a second or third language to junior and senior CS/IS majors and minors at Northwest Missouri State University.
